::back from a holiday in taiwan::
hello guys, im back from a holiday in taiwan!! (as my title there suggests) and dont think i was slacking ok, i paid my dues to get this fine holiday. anyway, murphy's law took place again for my 2 days of holiday in taiwan.
on the first day, i tried to take picture of my group, and then the camera said battery exhausted. anyway, we went to this place called Leofoo safari in taipei, where i sat on 2 of the 3 scariest rides.. all because of poor time management! some ppl with more superb management managed to sit on all three. anyway, sat the free fall tower which was 1Xshiok one and the 360.. cant describe that feeling unless i use obscene words. at night, went to the famous shihlin night market. got my first mouthful of chou tofu, giant sausage and some pork intestine mee sua. ok lah, all sucked, but at least i got a taste of em. the choutofu wasnt bad at first, and the aftertaste reminded me strongly of sewage water.
thats a no-no
taiwanese ppl are damn weird, seriously.
1:this shop keeper barked at me not to touch his stuff since im only browsing and told me its 300 bucks, thats all.
2: another shop keeper was pushing large trolleys of clothes through the small corridors of shihlin and rudely shoo-ing ppl off his path.
3: my group was walking along a bend (still had shops at the side) and my friend at the front was forcefully pushed into the shop! LOL. shop keeper said "go inside and see" then all the exits were blocked by shelves of clothes and the only way out was howwe went in. so my friend attempted to escape but was pushed in and the guys said "see longer lah" like LOL? ok in the end we escaped anyway.
4: this taxi driver kept telling us how much he hates americans...
5: this shopkeeper kept trying to offer a discount of something which was blatantly too expensive for what it was
and whenever i watched the news, some retarded ppl were tryin to punch others, and huge numbers of ppl were shouting someting. messy lah!!
on the 2nd day, went to yangmingshan for hot spring (OOH) hahaha
we were given this cropped out mini map of taipei which tried to contain our movements within the center of taipei, but who cares, we ventured out anyway. hot spring somewhere in the mountains,and it was the best. jumped into the cold, warm, hot and super hot pools and experimented with cold--> hot and hot-->> cold hahahha think my systems dysfunctional now. im feeling quite cold in aircon cuz my pores are so open. and so i smelt of sulfur the entire day (and more)

went to wufenpu shopping area after that which was damn good. the bags were nice and cheap, so were the wallets. clothes, whatever. but in view of the fact that one baggage was allowed on the plane, i didnt buy to my hearts content. sadsadsad! ventured to ximending, where i spotted the freaking large and anticipated political rally in taiwan/ u guys were watching it on tv, and i was watching it live :P yups. there wasnt much left in taipei to see, since my friends didnt wana go to 101. but then we saw the quite pathetic liaoning night market and the damn good raohe one. just before we had to head back to hotel. too bad my friends were spamming al the shoe shops in raohe and ignoring everything else especially the food!!!! urgh.
righhhhhhht. that sums the end of my taiwan trip. 7 weeks more to the big day!
